Professor Zorica Petrović is a music educator, conductor, author and international cultural manager whose professional career spans more than five decades across Bijeljina, Belgrade, Milan and Saint Petersburg.
After graduating from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, she dedicated her life to music education, conducting, cultural management and the promotion of Serbian culture internationally.
From 1999 to 2011, she lived and worked in Milan, where she founded and managed Artists International Management (A.I.M.), creating one of the most active cultural bridges between Serbia and Italy.
She organised numerous concerts, theatre productions, opera projects, exhibitions and international cultural events in cooperation with the General Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Milan, the Italian Cultural Institute, the Embassy of Italy, prestigious theatres, conservatories and opera houses throughout Italy.
Among her greatest achievements was organising the historic first guest performance of the Filarmonica della Scala from Milan in Belgrade (2006), together with international auditions and collaborations involving La Scala Milano, Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova and many other leading European cultural institutions.
She also organised the long-running Days of Serbian Culture in Milan, international concerts, theatre productions and exhibitions, making a significant contribution to strengthening cultural cooperation between Serbia and Italy.
She is the author of the poetry collection Kumova slama nežnosti, first published on 26 June 1996, with a new edition currently being prepared through the Petrović Foundation.
Today, she continues her cultural mission between Bijeljina and Belgrade, preparing new literary projects while developing international theatre, music and educational initiatives that connect artists from Serbia with Europe and the world. Within the Petrović Foundation, she leads the Foundation's music, literature, education and international cultural cooperation programs.
